The William and Mary Swing Pavillion at Bishop's Ranch, Healdsburg, CA
Bishop's Ranch sits on a sunny knoll nestled among the forests, farms and vineyards of Sonoma County. Owned by the Episcopal Diocese of California since 1947, this retreat and conference center provides a variety of meeting facilities, comfortable lodging, wholesome meals, and recreational activities for non-profit, religious and educational groups of all ages. Completed in 2008, the new William and Mary Swing Pavillion building was designed by Jerry Wagner and Bob Theis. The straw bale building features thick walled plasters and clay paints using the beautiful red clays from the building site.
